14位新秀訓練生進入三日兩夜的訓練營，需接受唱歌、跳舞及演技三大考驗，Angela分享自己參賽時，曾經是中下游位置的經歷，寄語排名較後的學員不要灰心。Vincy現身時唱出經典歌曲《感應》，令一眾戴着眼罩的學員驚喜萬分，她亦相當有心邀請其歌唱老師前來跟參賽者上堂。綜合3個項目，表現得最好的燒賣及Andy（大家好）被任命為第一階段的隊長，之後比賽則分成兩組進行。
曾抗拒做評判
在正式展開比賽時，軒仔說自己不太適合做歌唱比賽評判，因為會被好多情緒干擾︰「會諗番起自己初入行時好多嘅難處，冇辦法去做到一個好嚴厲嘅評判，係會有啲同情分。」Donald坦言曾抗拒，因為感覺好殘忍︰「睇到好多行家做評判之後，會被其他人問『點解揀呢個？點解唔揀嗰個？』所以好大壓力，但今次有軒仔坐鎮令我好放心，因為我覺得啲人會鬧軒仔唔會鬧我，哈哈！今次係為未來搵新嘅可造之材，所以我要放低平時嘅鹹濕眼。」軒仔續自嘲比較是「鹹濕耳」︰「我會鍾意聽啲好聽嘅聲音。」
歌唱對決
第一輪歌唱對決「指定曲目PK」回合中的「PK挑戰歌」，是由大師姐容祖兒親自挑選歌曲《東京人壽》，兩隊隊長「燒賣」及「大家好」先對唱，軒仔一見到「大家好」即忍笑說︰「佢個樣同我三姨係一個餅印，硬係覺得見到我三姨喺度唱歌，你明唔明嗰種好不安嘅感覺！」但聽完「大家好」的演繹後，軒仔大讚︰「好欣賞佢嘅一個細節位，就係舞台禮儀，佢唱完有向我哋、觀眾鞠躬，有向後面嘅樂手老師鞠躬，係我哋呢啲『old seafood』會加分嘅位。」最後「大家好」先拔頭籌，勝出首場對決。去到第二場的Medley對決，Helen（Midnight）對戰Chris（譚仔），最終由前者勝出。
